Dubai Health Forum to focus on AI, next-gen technologies
dubai — The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced the launch of the second edition of the Dubai Health Forum which will take place on January 15-16, 2018 at Madinat Jumeirah.
The forum will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Wednesday. “The forum will bring together respected decision makers, health practitioners, industry experts, guest speakers, multinational corporates and innovators launching next-generation, gamechanging technologies.”
Dr Manal Taryam, executive director of Primary Health Care, said that lifestyle medicine will also be discussed while physicians will be introduced to utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) in diagnostics services. “Many of the topics to be discussed have already been implemented while others are part of Vision 2021, while others are part of Dubai’s futuristic healthcare vision,” she said. Topics such as AI, robotics and genomics will be discussed.
Other topics include Sustainable Energy & Environment Health, Technology & Innovation, Sustainable Economics in Health, Family Health and Community wellbeing, Occupational Health, Human Capital and Youth & Healthcare: Investing in Millennials.
The first edition of the forum in 2017 attracted over 2,200 attendees from 16 countries with over 40 speakers, saw four workshops, 8 panel sessions and 11 health talks over the course of two days. Attendees included highlevel speakers including ministers from UAE and Oman, city mayors, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, paralympians, head of international organisations and other guest speakers.
