Cebu Pacific, PayRemit in tie-up

dubai — The Philippine­s’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific Air (CEB), expands its payment channels to enable Filipino expatriate­s to pay for their flight bookings even if they do not have credit cards.

Cebu Pacific Air has partnered with PayRemit, a payment gateway owned by Ventaja Internatio­nal Corp.

Through PayRemit, travellers can now purchase tickets online, whether via the CEB website or the mobile app, even without a credit card. Customers have to simply take note of the reference number and present it over-thecounter at any of the authorised PeyRemit counters in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Canada, then settle in cash.

PayRemit is available in 26 countries with 55 remittance­s agents and their 500-plus branches. Filipino expatriate­s may pay for their Cebu Pacific flights at any of the following exchange houses in the UAE: Al Fuad Exchange, Al Ghurair Exchange, Al Rostamani Internatio­nal Exchange, Delma Exchange, Emirates India Internatio­nal Exchange, Progoti Exchange and UAE Exchange. “The ability of our Filipino expatriate­s to pay for tickets through PayRemit widens their options to search for the lowest fares and secure their bookings,” said Mix Acuros, area manager for Asia of Ventaja.
