Vandana Jain cooking studio opens
dubai — Vandana Jain Culinary Courses (VJCC), an institute of perfect cooking, launched its new cooking studio fully equipped with modern gadgets and hand on facility at Bur Dubai.
The inauguration of studio was honoured by the chief guest, ardent social worker and Pravasi Bhartiya Samman awardee Bharat Bhai Shah, with the guest of honour, television celebrity — Naam To Suna Hoga — Gaurav Tandon, in the presence of many leading personalities, including James Mathew, G.R. Mehta and Nimish Makvana, ex-presidents of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India – Dubai Chapter and members of Indian Business and Professional Council Dubai; Shakar Patni and Sanjeev Jain, renowned jewellers; Nilesh Vadhwani, president of Jainsangh; Kesar Kothari, president of the Rajasthan Business and Professional Council; and other renowned business and professionals. Shah inaugurated the cooking studio with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and said that it is a matter of pride that Vandana Jain is promoting Indian cuisine in the Arab world, particularly enhancing vegetarianism and wishing that VJCC will achieve a new milestone in the field of cooking. The international diaspora will be benefitted through her endeavour.
Tandon initiated the gas stove as a symbol of positive cooking and told that Jain is empowering women and is inspirational to home makers who cook food for their families. Women must be respected for their kitchen skills and should not be taken for granted, and he appreciated Jain’s global achievements and talent.
Jain, founder of VJCC, is versatile culinary expert, Gourmand World Cookbook award-winning author, specialist in international cuisine particularly Indian cuisines, a wellknown recipe writer for leading UAE magazines/newspapers, one who conducts live cookery on road/ TVradio shows and holding cooking classes for Arab, African and other residents. She won two global achievements, including best Indian cuisine book of the world and best vegetarian book of the UAE.
