Lady Luck shines on Dubai Shopping Festival revellers

DUBAI — the dubai shopping festival (DSF) turned lady luck for some shoppers as it kicked off its 23rd edition on tuesday with exciting prizes offered to shoppers via mega raffles.

At the global village, the first infiniti mega raffle was bagged by nicanor pozon from the philippine­s, who went home with a new infiniti Qx60 as well as Dh150,000 in cash. In the daily gold promotion, laly g. from india won 500 grammes of gold, while chella kumwar and iftikhar ahmad from india and pakistan won 250 grammes of gold each.

A lucky shopper at city centre mirdif, ahmed ali from oman, won dh50,000 in cash to spend at majid al futtaim malls during the dsf after having enjoyed the 12-hour sale which took place on the first day of the dsf. The five- week shopping extravagan­za will offer many more opportunit­ies for shoppers to win exciting prizes.

Infiniti mega raffle

On till February 3, shoppers will be in with a chance to win a daily prize of an infiniti Qx60 plus Dh150,000 in cash. In addition, there will be a weekly draw, where four lucky winners will receive a cash prize of Dh50,000 each. Raffle tickets are available now and can be purchased for Dh200.

Dh1 million up for grabs

Throughout the festival, shoppers who spend over Dh200 at participat­ing malls can win Dh1 million in cash and dubai experience vouchers worth Dh480,000 In the promotion run by the Dubai shopping malls group.

33kg of gold, anyone?

The dubai gold & jewellery group will be giving away 33kg gold during the dsf. When spending Dh500 or more on gold, shoppers will get one raffle coupon, while those who spend Dh500 on diamond jewellery will receive two raffle coupons.
