A welcome change

A wonderful change is taking place on the roads of the UAE. There are fewer accidents and fatalities, which is heartening. People are more cautious when behind the wheel, and it is the traffic department that deserves a pat on the back as much as the good drivers. Their relentless campaign, heftier fines, colour coding of patches on the road, and total commitment to public life are making a huge difference. They aim to make UAE roads safer, and we should all contribute.
