Three Emiratis were killed in a tragic accident in Abu Dhabi while two Asian residents died in a horrific road accident in Ras Al Khaimah late Thursday night. The Emiratis were killed after their car rammed into a lamp post at Dalma island in Abu Dhabi. While three passengers were killed on the spot, a fourth survived with moderate injuries.

In another gruesome car collision on the new ring road in Ras Al Khaimah, two Asian residents died and four others — two Emirati nationals and two Asian expatriates — were seriously injured when two cars collided, according to a top police officer.
