Coming soon: Manipal Medical College in Dubai

BRS Ventures of the UAE, Manipal Global Education Services of India with Manipal Academy of Higher Education on Saturday agreed to collaborate and establish Dubai Manipal Medical College in the UAE.

BRS Ventures and Manipal Global Education Services signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Manipal Academy of Higher Education will be the academic partner.

BRS Ventures chairman Dr BR Shetty said Manipal Global Education is one of the leaders in the education sector in India. “The group is known to deliver high-quality education in multiple disciplines of study. Integrity, passion, teamwork, which are our core values, are shared by the Manipal group too. We want to offer the best to the young and bright minds of India, the UAE and other countries. In this endeavour, we could not have had a better partner than Manipal Global Education.”

Manipal Global Education director Dr Ranjan Pai said there is a concentrated effort to expand global footprint in education. “We are happy that we could make our foray in medical education in the UAE with BRS Ventures. This course will give our students a holistic approach towards medicine. The best practices shared between the countries will most certainly result in well-rounded and highly aware medical professionals.”

Dubai Manipal Medical College will be established under the aegis of Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). The application is under process with KHDA.
