Ganglani, 21. The magazine has always been a platform for the youth in every possible way — from carrying words, pictures and photographs to even helping people connect with each other sans (and pre-dating the era of) social media.

As a child, Karishma was featured many times in the magazine, “Each time my artwork was published, I was motivated to submit more of my drawings. My mum loved to read the poems sent in by other kids. I think it’s a very wise decision to present Young Times to the children of today. It is a great way to make young people realise how fun it can be to simply sit and read a magazine.” Besides being featured, the eager wait for the magazine revolved around the puzzles, riddles, and comic strips — the Fun Times pages, which are an important element even today. “My brother and I would wait for the weekly edition so that we could solve the puzzles and the crosswords. I am hopeful that the product will encourage the kids to turn off their gadgets! Also, it can help improve their vocabulary and mental agility,” she says. “I am proud to say that for me it all began with
