UAE tops in Fiber Optic Network

The UAE is ranked number 1 for the highest Fibre to the Home (FTTH) penetratio­n among all its global counterpar­ts for a second year in a row, according to the leading industry body FTTH Council.

The council published its annual report recently that highlighte­d UAE with a coverage of 94.3 per cent compared to countries such as Singapore (90.3 per cent), South Korea (81.6 per cent), Hong Kong (75.6 per cent) and Japan (69.1 per cent).
