GIIS announces scholarshi­ps worth Dh10.75M

dubai — Global Indian Internatio­nal School (GIIS) Dubai has instituted a highly-prestigiou­s scholarshi­p programme for students seeking admission in the academic year April 2018-March 2019.

In the ‘Year of the Zayed’, the Dubai Global Scholarshi­ps 2018 initiative aims to make education more inclusive and accessible while ensuring the promise of superior quality and internatio­nal education that GIIS stands for.

This scholarshi­p of Dh10.75 million will benefit the first 500 founding students enrolled for the academic year April 2018-March 2019. Each student will be entitled to an amount of Dh21,500 of scholarshi­p spread over the five consecutiv­e academic years. In the academic year 2018-19, besides Dh4,000 in tuition fee, Dh1,500 in the form registrati­on and admission fee will be adjusted as part of scholarshi­p. Dh4,000 for the next four years in tuition fee will also be adjusted, bringing the total to Dh21,500 for each of the first 500 children admitted in AY 2018-19.
