GIIS announces scholarships worth Dh10.75M
dubai — Global Indian International School (GIIS) Dubai has instituted a highly-prestigious scholarship programme for students seeking admission in the academic year April 2018-March 2019.
In the ‘Year of the Zayed’, the Dubai Global Scholarships 2018 initiative aims to make education more inclusive and accessible while ensuring the promise of superior quality and international education that GIIS stands for.
This scholarship of Dh10.75 million will benefit the first 500 founding students enrolled for the academic year April 2018-March 2019. Each student will be entitled to an amount of Dh21,500 of scholarship spread over the five consecutive academic years. In the academic year 2018-19, besides Dh4,000 in tuition fee, Dh1,500 in the form registration and admission fee will be adjusted as part of scholarship. Dh4,000 for the next four years in tuition fee will also be adjusted, bringing the total to Dh21,500 for each of the first 500 children admitted in AY 2018-19.
