Dubai Police jobs just two clicks away
dubai — An Emirates ID is enough for Emirati jobseekers to work with the Dubai Police. An intelligent, smart job platform was launched on the sidelines of the three-day Careers UAE 2018, which began in Dubai on Tuesday.
The applicant is urged to use a smart device to apply for the job in two steps: First, apply using the UAE identity, and the second answer the test questions via tablets. Besides, the Dubai Police will launch five new jobs this year, including recruitment of women pilots.
Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the Dubai Police General Command’s ‘Smart Choice and Recruitment’ for Emirati job seekers at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Tuesday.
Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and director-general of human resources; Brigadier General Jamal Al Jallaf, deputy director general of Administrative Affairs, Colonel Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Mualla, directorgeneral of Excellence and Leadership, and a number of Dubai police officers were briefed on the intelligent recruitment programme. Sheikh Mansour also launched a special discount card for Dubai Police employees.
On the participation of the Dubai Police at the career fair, Al Marri said that the Dubai Police are keen to facilitate the process of recruitment of citizens in line with the directives of the Government of Dubai to attract national capabilities and enhance the future police work with national cadres capable of enhancing security and safety for people.
Aircraft Commander Brigadier-General Ahmed Rafi said that the General Command of Dubai Police, under the direction of Al Marri, launched this year the slogan “Identity is ... Enough” for those wishing to join the Dubai Police.
A consultant for the future, Brigadier Rafie said that the Dubai Police also offer specialised future careers that support the Dubai Police Artificial Intelligence Strategic Plan 2018-2021 in line with the Emirates Artificial Intelligence Strategy, the first large project within the UAE 2071.
Jobs for the future also include development of self-driving vehicles, information systems and processing, robotics, social media analyst and bioinformatics.
