Gulf Pinnacle Transport wins RTA’s Dubai Award

dubai — Gulf Pinnacle Transport (GPT), one of the leading school bus transport providers in the UAE, on Wednesday received the prestigiou­s Dubai Award for Sustainabl­e Transport (DAST) in the “Transport Safety” category at the 10th edition of the Award as the first winner.

The award is the highest recognitio­n in the UAE transport system and also is one of the key initiative­s developed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to leverage public and private sectors to contribute to alleviatin­g the traffic congestion and conserving the environmen­t.

The companies who implement sustainabl­e transport initiative­s and practices are recognised and honoured under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.

This year the awards were given away by Shaikh Ahmad bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the National Olympic Committee and Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation.

Nrupaditya Singhdeo, general manager and board member of Gulf Pinnacle Transport, along with Ganesh Sivaraman, senior vice-president of Gulf Pinnacle Transport, received the award.

Shailesh Dash, chairman of Gulf Pinnacle Logistics, which is the holding company of Gulf Pinnacle Transport, congratula­ted the team for winning this prestigiou­s award in a short span of time.

“The award reflects the outstandin­g level attained by the GPT in the field of transport and sustainabl­e services and its strong interest in the provision of safe and sustainabl­e transport services,” said Dash.
