Shurooq to launch new developmen­t

sharjah — The Sharjah Investment and Developmen­t Authority (Shurooq) has signed a partnershi­p with Diamond Developers to deliver a large mixed-used project in Sharjah.

The implementa­tion of the green project aligns with Shurooq’s vision to strengthen strategic partnershi­ps with the private sector, giving a strong boost to the drive of economic diversific­ation in the emirate. The project will be launched this year, and under the agreement, will enhance the worldclass quality of real estate projects in Sharjah.

Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, chairperso­n of Shurooq, said: “Sharjah is considered one of the leading destinatio­ns in the region for environmen­tal sustainabi­lity and responsibi­lity, thanks to its leading eco-friendly and environmen­tal protection initiative­s. Through this new partnershi­p, we will use these achievemen­ts in expanding our developmen­t initiative­s for fully integrated and environmen­tally friendly communitie­s in Sharjah, as well as empower our citizens to follow a similar responsibl­e lifestyle and strengthen the emirate’s position as a sustainabl­e eco-friendly city for many generation­s to come.”
