PATTERN OF COMMUNAL CLASHES IN 8 BIHAR AREAS AND 2 WEST BENGAL CITIES
> March 17, Bhagalpur:
Communal clashes broke out during a procession taken out by BJP, Bajrang Dal and RSS activists. The unauthorised procession was led by Arijit Shashwat, son of Union minister Ashwani Choubey, allegedly inciting communal sentiments and roaming on the streets with weapons.
> March 24, Siwan:
A clash between two communities erupted
following an alleged effort by some people to stop a Ram Navami procession at Hassanpura.

Communal violence erupted in Aurangabad following a stone-pelting incident during a Ram Navami procession.

Communal tension gripped Nawada town on Friday after a religious idol was
found damaged. Angry mobs damaged vehicles, torched shops and pelted stones at police.
> March 25/26: West Bengal:
Asansol and Raniganj witnessed violent clashes between two groups over Ram Navami processions, killing three persons. Activists of a saffron outfit allegedly clashed with police and hurled crude bombs at them after police tried to stop the clash.
