DHA to open new dialysis centre in Al Twar

dubai — The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department have signed an MoU to establish a dialysis centre in Al Twar area on the sidelines of the Dubai Internatio­nal Government Achievemen­t Exhibition.

The centre will provide quality dialysis services to people with limited means.

Humaid Al Qattami, chairman of the board and director-general of the DHA, and Dr Hamad Al Shibani, director-general of the Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, signed the MoU in the presence of officials from Beit Al Khair Society, Dar Al Beir Society and Dubai Charity Associatio­n.

The MoU is in line with Dubai Government’s efforts to collaborat­e with other authoritie­s and government entities to provide the best health, social and humanitari­an services.

Al Qattami said the authority is keen on collaborat­ing with different entities that share the goals of the Dubai Government and vision in order to achieve customer satisfacti­on. He added that this partnershi­p would provide the best prevention and treatment services for kidney disease to people with limited means who need regular dialysis, with the support of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.

Dr Al Shaibani said the department is committed to its role, responsibi­lities and services to the community and its members, especially the patients.

He stressed that the department is keen to build bridges of cooperatio­n and strengthen its relations with all institutio­ns to serve the Government of Dubai’s strategy.
