Hamdan okays DCAA structure
dubai — Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has issued Executive Council Resolution No.10 of 2018 approving the Organisational Structure of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.
The Resolution authorises the Director-General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority to issue all bylaws required to implement this Resolution, including approving the mandates for all units under the purview of this Resolution.
The new organisational structure is composed of the DirectorGeneral, which the Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department is affiliated with, in addition to the Director-General Office, the Legal Affairs Office and the Internal Audit Office.
The organisational structure includes the sectors of aviation safety and environment, Aviation Security and accident investigation, air transport and international affairs and corporate support and communication. This Resolution annuls Executive Council Resolution No. 20 of 2016 pertaining the Organisational Structure of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and any other legislation that contradict or challenge its articles. This Resolution is effective from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette. — Wam
