Hamdan okays DCAA structure

dubai — Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has issued Executive Council Resolution No.10 of 2018 approving the Organisati­onal Structure of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.

The Resolution authorises the Director-General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority to issue all bylaws required to implement this Resolution, including approving the mandates for all units under the purview of this Resolution.

The new organisati­onal structure is composed of the DirectorGe­neral, which the Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department is affiliated with, in addition to the Director-General Office, the Legal Affairs Office and the Internal Audit Office.

The organisati­onal structure includes the sectors of aviation safety and environmen­t, Aviation Security and accident investigat­ion, air transport and internatio­nal affairs and corporate support and communicat­ion. This Resolution annuls Executive Council Resolution No. 20 of 2016 pertaining the Organisati­onal Structure of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and any other legislatio­n that contradict or challenge its articles. This Resolution is effective from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette. — Wam
