Aru in race for Alps honours

Fabio Aru will continue his exploits in the UCI World Tour this week as the Italian gears up to take on the Tour of the Alps to be run from Monday to Friday.

The Italian last turned out for the side at Volta a Catalunya, but was forced to withdraw from the final stage due to injury. Having recovered, the Italian will continue his pursuit alongside teammates Valerio Conti, Kristijan Durasek, Vegard Stake Laengen, Przemyslaw Niemic, Simone Petilli, and Edward Ravasi.
