March 9:

A suicide bomber on foot blows himself up in a Shia area, killing at least nine people and wounding 18. The attack is claimed by Daesh

March 21:

More than 30 people, mostly teenagers, are killed when a Daesh suicide bomber blows himself up as they celebrate the Persian New Year holiday

april 22:

A Daesh bomber kills 60 people including women and children and wounds 129, all civilians, outside a voter registrati­on centre

april 30:

At least 25 people are killed, including AFP photograph­er Shah Marai and seven journalist­s, in two suicide blasts. The attacks were claimed by Daesh
