ras al khaimah — The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) is opening its modern Al Fayrouz Ramadan Tent Island, during the holy month of Ramadan.

Families and friends can enjoy the contemporary tent, located on shores of the emirate.

With JW Marriott Dubai as the international 5-star operating partner for the tent’s catering and management, Al Fayrouz Ramadan Tent will offer visitors and residents a truly unique Iftar and Suhoor experience, in a modern ambience and approach to Ramadan traditions.

The tent will comprise a main dining area, 10 private majlis areas and several private areas for VIP visitors and corporate bookings to enjoy a traditional Iftar, or a la carte Suhoor with family, friends or colleagues.

Haitham Mattar, RAKTDA’s CEO, said the holy month of Ramadan is the time of the year when families and friends come together every day to celebrate centuries-old traditions. “We are excited to offer visitors from across the UAE the opportunity to celebrate this special time of the year with us, with a new theme this year inspired by contemporary and elegant décor, in a stunning natural setting.”

Open throughout Ramadan from 6:30 pm until 2am on weekdays and 6:30pm until 3:00am on weekends, Al Fayrouz Ramadan Tent iftar — inclusive of all food and drinks — is priced at Dh150++ for adults and half price for children aged six to 12, while children below the age of six eat for free.
