dubai — The world’s top squash players will arrive in Dubai in just under three weeks’ time to contest the ATCO PSA Dubai World Series Finals, and tickets are now on sale for one of the most prestigious events on the PSA World Tour.

Supported by the Dubai Sports Council, the ATCO PSA Dubai World Series Finals will give squash fans the opportunity to watch the top male and female players in the world battle it out for the coveted title at the Emirates Golf Club between June 5-9. Tickets for the event start at just Dhs 55.

In order to qualify for the ATCO PSA World Series Finals, players must finish in the top eight on the PSA World Series Standings. Points are on offer at all eight World Series tournaments throughout the 2017/18 season, and some of the biggest names in the sport have already secured their berths in Dubai.

With only one qualification event remaining, the Allam British Open, which is currently underway and concludes on May 20, the battle to seal the final spots has gone down to the wire.

Prior to the British Open, Egyptian powerhouses Mohamed and Marwan ElShorbagy, Ali Farag and Tarek Momen, along with Germany’s Simon Rosner, had all sealed their spots in the men’s line-up, while Nour El Sherbini, Nour El Tayeb and Raneem El Welily will fly the flag for Egypt in the women’s line up, with New Zealand’s Joelle King also on her way to Dubai for the first time.

Players will go head-to-head in Dubai in the best-of-three games group stages as they battle for a place in the knockout semi-finals and beyond, while players battle for a share of the prestigious title and the lucrative $320,000 prize fund which is split equally between the men’s and women’s events.
