Gulf Air and Tamkeen ink deal to train airline’s Bahraini workforce
manama — The Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air and Tamkeen have signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing opportunities for the training and employment of Bahrainis within the Kingdom’s aviation sector.
The agreement is tailored to Gulf Air’s requirements and brings a value-added, unmatched training experience to the airline’s aviation professionals. The joint cooperation agreement was signed by Gulf Air chief executive officer (CEO) Kresimir Kucko and Tamkeen CEO Dr Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi.
The signing ceremony took place at the airline’s Muharraq headquarters in the presence of Gulf Air deputy CEO Captain Waleed Abdulhameed Al Alawi, Gulf Air chief operations officer Captain Suhail Abdulhameed Abdulaziz Ismaeel and Gulf Air director Human Resources Mrs Nouf AlSowaidi.
Gulf Air CEO Kucko praised the role played by Tamkeen:

As the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, one of Gulf Air’s long-term goals is to help enhance the aviation skills and experience of Bahrainis,” Kresimir Kucko said. He said Tamkeen is a strategic partner in many important national development projects in the Kingdom and has a long history of supporting Gulf Air’s many training and employment programmes.
