Rulers offer prayers, receive well-wishers
abu dhabi — His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Friday received their Highnesses, the Members of the Supreme Council and the Rulers of the Emirates, crown princes and deputy rulers at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.
All of them extended Eid Al Fitr greetings to the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing him health and good luck to continue the progress and development of the country.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed received Their Highnessess Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman; Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fu- jairah; Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
They also received — in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance — crown princes and deputy rulers of the emirates, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi of Sharjah; Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi of Ajman; Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah; Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla of Umm Al Quwain; Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Mu’alla of UAQ and Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.
DUBAI
On Friday morning, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid performed the Eid Al Fitr prayers at Zaabeel Mosque. Performing the prayer alongside him were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and CEO of Emirates Group and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, a number of Sheikhs, officials and a group of worshippers.
The Dubai Ruler later received Eid well-wishers at Zabeel Palace on Friday morning.
ABU DHABI
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed performed the Eid Al Fitr prayers on Friday morning alongside worshippers
at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. A number of sheikhs, senior officials, diplomats, citizens and residents performed the prayer with him.
The sermon highlighted the joyous holiday, its timing to promote love and peace, which Al Kaabi said are the main goals of Islam. He also prayed for the triumph of the UAE and Arab Coalition who came together to restore the rights of people, wishing the people of Yemen prosperity and stability. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed later received crowds of well-wishers on Eid Al Fitr at Mushrif Palace on Friday.
SHARJAH
Dr Sheikh Sultan performed the Eid prayer at Al Badea Mussala in the emirate. The Sharjah Ruler later received Eid well-wishers on
Friday at Al-Badee Palace in Sharjah. Alongside him were Sheikh Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The Ruler of Sharjah exchanged congratulations with several Sheikhs, senior officials and a delegation from Sharjah Police.
AJMAN
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid offered Eid Al Fitr prayers at the Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Mosque in Ajman.
Sheikh Humaid also received Eid Al Fitr well-wishers at Al Zaher Palace on Friday morning, in the presence of Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid. They also received Eid greetings from a number of sheikhs, key officials in the government and private departments, top military and police officials, dignitaries, citizens and residents.
FUJAIRAH
Sheikh Hamad and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad offered Eid Al Fitr prayer on Friday at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah.
A number of Sheikhs, senior officials, dignitaries, citizens and residents also performed prayers alongside the Fujairah Ruler.
After the prayer, Sheikh Hamad exchanged Eid greetings with Sheikhs, senior officials and worshippers.
UMM AL QUWAIN
Sheikh Saud bin Rashid offered Eid Al Fitr prayers on Friday at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Umm Al Quwain. A number of Sheikhs, senior officials, dignitaries, citizens and residents also performed prayers alongside the UAQ Ruler.
Sheikh Saud bin Rashid listened to the Eid sermon, delivered by Shaikh Mohammed Ibrahim Humaid, who prayed to Allah to keep the President in good health, bless the UAE people and to rest the martyrs in eternal peace. Sheikh Saud later received well-wishers on Eid morning along with Sheikh Rashid bin Saud.
RAS AL KHAIMAH
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr and Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud offered Eid Al Fitr prayers on Friday at the Eid Grand Musalla in Khuzam. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr and Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud also received Sheikhs, senior officials, businessmen and Emirati citizens who expressed their Eid wishes. —
