lahore — Peshawar Zalmi has been named among the top performing franchises at the HBL Pakistan Super League.

An evaluation of the third season of the tournament by Nielsen Sports placed the tournament’s combined media exposure brand value at over $230 million, with Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings being the top teams in terms of total media value.

The event was held in FebruaryMarch this year in the UAE, and three games including the final were played in Pakistan.

According to Nielsen Sports, HBL PSL and its official sponsors generated 38 per cent higher value than the previous season.

Social media was the media platform that showed the greatest growth, increasing the value for HBL PSL and its sponsors by almost four times.

This was due to more uploaded content and higher fan engagement on Facebook and Twitter on the official HBL PSL platforms.
