Eros voted UAE’s choice Superbrand for 8th year
dubai — Eros Group, distributor of world-renowned brands like Samsung, Hitachi, Linksys, TCL, Midea, Sonos and many more, was voted a Superbrand by the Superbrands Council UAE — the independent authority and arbiter of branding — for the eighth time in a row.
Superbrands is a Global Organisation which promotes the discipline of branding and pays tribute to the strongest and most valuable brands in the world through its publications and national marketing programs. The Superbrands programme identifies those brands which offer consumers emotional and tangible benefits above that of their competitors. Independent researchers devise a population list of approximately 10,000 brands, which is then cut down by Superbrands internal experts to create a shortlist of approximately 1,500 brands to be submitted to the independent and voluntary Superbrands Council for scoring. Only those brands highly rated by the council qualify for SuperBrand status. The council members are a diverse range of experts from across the industry
well placed to judge the nation’s strongest brands.
Mike English, director, SuperBrands, said: “Eros Group is a dynamic brand that has consistently been at the cutting-edge of the electronics industry since its launch. It embraces everything essential to a successful brand and is a true pioneering spirit in its market. The iconic status Eros Group has achieved continues to go from strength to strength, and it remains a dominant brand in the UAE, despite the unprecedented levels of competition.”
Niranjan Gidwani, CEO of Eros Group, commented: “For the eighth year in a row, we are very pleased to be receiving yet again the prestigious SuperBrand title. This demonstrates continuous effort and high dedication from the Eros Group team in marketing excellence and customer satisfaction. The continuous recognition and appreciation from the industry and customers will only push us harder to remain committed in delivering the best products and services to the residents of the UAE.”
