The joint task forces succeeded in nabbing the gang members and seized 17 luxury cars at a port as the cars were about to be smuggled out. Another 13 cars were found in some containers at a storehouse in Al Aweer area in Dubai. In addition, the police recovered 12 cars from different parts of the country. The police also seized four cars that were used by the gangs in committing their crime in the country.
