SMS solves mystery of maid’s murder; sponsor arrested

dubai — The Dubai Police have managed to uncover the mystery behind the death of a maid in Al Nahda, which was reported earlier as a natural death.

Colonel Ahmed Humaid Al Marri, director of the crime scene department at the Dubai Police Criminal Investigation Department, said that the incident came to light when the police received a call from a GCC woman, who asked the police to send an ambulance for her African maid, claiming that she just fainted and was motionless.
