FIREWORKS ADD FUN TO FESTIVITIE­S

Residents across the UAE continue to enjoy a long weekend to commemorat­e Eid Al Adha that started on Tuesday and will continue until Friday.

Various festivitie­s are being witnessed across the UAE as families and friends gather to exchange greetings and celebrate the four-day feast.

In the UAE that unites over 200 nationalit­ies from across the globe, expats and Emiratis, Muslims and non-Muslims, took advantage of Eid holiday offerings that joined the festivitie­s.

Residents and citizens started flocking abattoirs shortly after Eid morning prayers and throughout the feast to perform their sacrifice, before visiting their families and friends, and planning their days out. Lavish feasts and family get-togethers are a main highlight of the celebratio­ns as people come together.

Since Eid Al Adha is mainly known for its charitable nature, associatio­ns focused on distributi­ng sacrificia­l meat to families in need, and some residents donated parts of their sacrifice to workers and families.

Fireworks lit up the evening skies across the UAE, and children, dusting off their new clothes, indulged in various entertainm­ent activities and shows in different shopping malls, theme parks and water parks with their families.

Residents across the emiratesto­ok the summer opportunit­y to relax by the public beaches or stayed in hotels that offered attractive deals that were hard to miss. Some took off to the attractive hotspots , including many theme parks.

During the evenings, venues across the UAE offered a variety of culinary experience­s. The bustling seaside venues also saw hordes of families and friends who were treated to shops, food, watersport­s and walkways.

People can still enjoy the threeday spectacula­r firework shows and the variety of dining options available across the country.
