Dubai Ladies Club to host open day, exhibit for Saudi women

dubai — The Dubai Ladies Club has organised an open day on Sunday in celebratio­n of the 88th Saudi National Day, during which Saudi women will be able to enjoy the club’s various facilities and services.

The open day will include many festive activities and exclusive membership offers, in line with the UAE’s celebratio­n and commemorat­ion of this special day.

Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, president of the Dubai Ladies Club and wife of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidenti­al Affairs, said: “On this occasion, we extend our sincere congratula­tions to the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to its beloved people, and we wish them continued success and prosperity. We are pleased to share the joy of this day with our Saudi brothers and sisters, as our nations share the same goal and vision.”

Lamia Abdulaziz Khan, director of the Dubai Ladies Club, said: “The club’s open day will allow Saudi women to enter the premises for free, granting them access to the club’s ladies-only beach and pool, tennis and squash courts, and to enjoy compliment­ary group fitness classes. Saudi women will also be able to avail 35 per cent off of all club membership offers, including the annual, six-month, and three-month membership­s, as well a 35 per cent discount on any treatment from Al Asalla Spa.”

The open day’s activities will also provide a platform for female Saudi entreprene­urs to showcase their businesses free of charge throughout the day in the club’s members lounge, offering them the opportunit­y to benefit from the large number of ladies and young women that visit the club.
