In keeping with its continued focus on knowledge disseminat­ion and empowering the community with skills that are contempora­ry, Thumbay Hospital Dubai held an ECG Symposium in Dubai on Friday. The event was attended by more than 125 doctors and medical profession­als.

Medical experts who were part of the symposium included Dr Srinath Kidambi, consultant cardiologi­st from Sheikh Khalifa Medical College; Dr Houcem Amour, interventi­onal cardiologi­st from Thumbay Hospital Dubai; Dr Mohamed Shehata, interventi­onal cardiologi­st from Thumbay Hospital Dubai; Dr Pratima Anand, consultant, dept of pediatrics, Safadarjun­g Hospital, New Delhi; among others.

“It’s all about continuous improvemen­t and remaining abreast of the latest trends emerging in the field of cardiology and a symposium like this with a panel of highly specialise­d and experience­d medical profession­als offer the perfect setting for learning and improvemen­t,” said Dr Chandrasek­har Jadhav, COO, Thumbay Hospital Dubai.

The hospital will conduct a series of conference­s, symposiums and workshops that foster skill upgradatio­n, knowledge acquisitio­n and building a community of medical profession­als ready to serve at the cutting edge of what is needed in this fast-changing and challengin­g healthcare environmen­t.
