MORE THAN 2,000 EXHIBITORS AT WETEX
DUBAI — The 20th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex 2018) is set to welcome over 2,100 exhibitors from 53 countries.
Held under the theme ‘At the forefront of sustainability’, the 20th edition of the event will cover an area of 78,413 square metres and run from October 23-25 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) and founder and chairman of the Wetex said that the event is organised under the umbrella of the fifth Green Week to showcase the latest developments and innovative solutions in renewable and traditional energy around the world and to provide business opportunities and potential partnerships.
Al Tayer also added that this edition of Wetex will be held in conjunction with the third Dubai Solar Show, the region’s largest solar energy exhibition which will cover an area of 14,000 square metres. The event will be an important opportunity for companies, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and specialists in solar energy systems. The exhibition coincides with the fifth World Green Economy Summit (WGES 2018), which brings together international experts and professionals in green economy, smart cities, innovation, and sustainable development.
