Mideast, Old School Boys and Gems Education win

dubai — In high-scoring matches of the 2nd DCC Weekend Slammers League which was played at the Sevens ground, Mideast Metals, Old School Boys and Gems Education emerged winners.

Man of the match Aashish Dhingra’s unbeaten 81 and Khurram Khawaja’s half century helped Mideast cruise past Roaring Lions with seven wickets in hand.

Mohammad Ibthisam’s matchwinning unbeaten 86 and half centuries from Adnan Arif and Pranav Arora took Old School Boys to victory over Dubai Mammoths.

Anoop Nair strruck an unbeaten 89, while Prajakat Chouhan (36), Qais Farooq (32) and Sheldon D’Cruz (25) too pushed for victory but Deep Kundwani and Shahrukh Khan did well for Old School Boys.

In another match Gems Education beat Mavericks Cricket Club.
