Dewa set to raise ACWA power deal

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) said on Saturday it had agreed to increase its electricity purchase from a solar park being built by a consortium led by Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power.

The park’s capacity should increase from 700 megawatts to 950 megawatts, the Dubai government’s Media Office tweeted.
