Appointment of Qasmi illegal: SC

The Supreme Court on Thursday declared the appointment of former chairman and managing director of the Pakistan Television Attaul Haq Qasmi, as illegal and void ab initio. A three-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, announced its reserved judgment. —
