Russneft says output cuts not discussed

moscow — Russian oil company Russneft said that oil production cuts were not discussed on Thursday at a meeting of oil majors with the Energy Ministry in Moscow.

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak is due to attend the joint Opec-non-Opec ministerial monitoring committee this weekend which is due to discuss the global oil market situation.

Other oil companies attending the Thursday meeting with Novak included Rosneft, Lukoil, Gazprom Neft and Tatneft.
