Kerala’s best doctors to come to Sharjah for two-day event

sharjah — Kerala’s best doctors are coming to Sharjah for a twoday expo on December 14-15.

Mathrubhumi.com will also be featuring hospitals, service providers, products and innovations, promoting Kerala’s growing healthcare industry.

The expo will be hosting seminars where visitors can learn more about pressing health issues and interact with specialists.

Among the experts who will be joining the event are Dr V.P. Gangadharan, an oncologist who established the first medical oncology department in Kerala at the Regional Cancer Centre, and Dr Philip Augustine, a gastroenterologist and a leading specialist for pancreatic diseases who introduced gastrointestinal endoscopy in India.

Dr Georgy K Ninan, a renowned nephrologist, and Dr George P Abraham, a highly acclaimed urologist — who have both done thousands of successful transplant surgeries — will also be speaking at the expo.

An infertility specialist, an expert in larynx and skull-based cancers, paediatricians, cardiologists and other specialists will be participating in different sessions.
