When politics becomes more entertaining than the Kapil Sharma show
Imagine you’re at a mall and you see a man clutching his chest and falling down. You know you are witnessing a heart attack. You see people rushing forward. In the midst of the chaos, you see these people looking for some kind of identification before first aid starts. A pendant of a goddess, or a cross or any mark to suggest you belong to a particular religion. They move out without helping when they don’t find what they want, leaving the poor man to die. You have just witnessed death, the death of the man and the death of humanity.
The Indian government has done exactly this. They intend to open the borders to help migrants. But they also want watchdogs to monitor who enters. Now, I don’t see how our country can help any of these needy people when our own folks are desperately trying to make ends meet. However, let’s just think that humanity took its own course. Do politicians really think that majority of the people don’t understand that the whole plan is a gimmick for the consolidation of votes based on religion?
If only the Indian prime minister had kept religion as a criteria before visiting countries. We would have saved billions of dollars on international trips. It’s high time Kapil Sharma bid adieu to his profession/passion. He just can’t beat these political comedians, no matter how hard he tries.
