JSS Private School (JSSPS) is a constituent of JSS Mahavidyapeetha (jssonline.org), one of India’s largest not for profit socio economic charitable trust that operates more than 350 educational institutions including medical science and technical universities in India. It has prominent presence in Mauritius and the US as well. JSSPS follows the curriculum laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), with an aim to promote critical and creative thinking and holistic development, which makes it stand apart from the other educational institutions. The school is conveniently located at Al Safa, Dubai.
Says Chitra Sharma, Founder Principal, JSS Private School, in an interview with Khaleej Times:

Sharma is an alumnus of Lady Irwin College, New Delhi, India and has spent 20 years as a classroom teacher, two years as the phase leader, three years as viceprincipal and eight years as principal. She balances being a collaborative administrator within a learning community, an individual manager whom others seek for guidance and a discerning principal who makes child-focused decisions. She believes that each child has a story that needs to be
heard and takes time to listen to those stories.
