A royal treat opens in Capital

Residents and visitors of the UAE are in for a royal treat as part of the Presidenti­al Palace in Abu Dhabi is now open for tours.

The magnificen­t Qasr Al Watan, a new cultural landmark housed within the Presidenti­al Palace compound, opened its door to the public on Monday, and hundreds of curious visitors were able to get a glimpse of the Arabian grandeur inside for the first time.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, led the opening ceremony of Qasr Al Watan. The palace has been described as an important symbol of the UAE’s progressiv­e journey, reflecting the leadership’s commitment to boosting cultural understand­ing among nations.

The UAE’s cultural legacy is a precious asset that must be treasured by both present and future generation­s. The preservati­on of this legacy has been integral to the country’s progressiv­e journey thus far.”
