A royal treat opens in Capital
Residents and visitors of the UAE are in for a royal treat as part of the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi is now open for tours.
The magnificent Qasr Al Watan, a new cultural landmark housed within the Presidential Palace compound, opened its door to the public on Monday, and hundreds of curious visitors were able to get a glimpse of the Arabian grandeur inside for the first time.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, led the opening ceremony of Qasr Al Watan. The palace has been described as an important symbol of the UAE’s progressive journey, reflecting the leadership’s commitment to boosting cultural understanding among nations.
