Westford University College MBA students graduate

dubai — Over 400 MBA students at Westford University College graduated from Cardiff Metropolit­an University in the UK.

Westford University College has been offering MBA programmes from reputed Universiti­es in UK. The most popular among them is the MBA programme awarded by Cardiff Metropolit­an University.

The programme is offered onsite in the UAE and via online to the rest of the world. In the advanced entry stage of MBA, the lectures will be conducted by professors from Cardiff Metropolit­an University directly and they supervise the students during the dissertati­on journey.

After the completion of the programme, every year a large group of students, accompanie­d by Westford staff and faculty, travel to Cardiff to attend the graduation ceremony in July 2019.

The graduation ceremony, held in the Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay recently, was a celebratio­n of the success of the students who completed their MBA programme. The associate dean of the business school and head of internatio­nal partnershi­ps, Dr Mukul Madahar, said: “Last year saw over 100 students progressin­g from Westford through MBA Advanced Entry at Cardiff Metropolit­an University. The overall quality of students that we have seen progressin­g through Westford has always been good, which is visible in the success rate of these students. Majority of the students are working profession­als holding middle/senior management positions across the Middle East.”

The remarkable achievemen­t for Westford in 2019 has been Rachel Vassallo who won the Neville Gaunt Prize for the best dissertati­on.

Hanil Das, co-founder of Westford, added: “We have arrived at the fifth year of successful partnershi­p with Cardiff Metropolit­an University. During this journey, over 400 students representi­ng 53 different countries across 13 cohorts have passed out of Westford.
