IDC Summit to reinvigorate ICT sector
dubai — International Data Corporation (IDC) will welcome more than 500 of the region’s most influential ICT decision makers this week as it hosts the IDC Middle East CIO Summit 2020 at Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm, on February 26-27.
IDC’s research shows that more than 40 per cent of enterprises worldwide today are ‘digitally determined’, spearheaded by visionary executives willing to make the tough decisions required to align digital initiatives, technologies, teams, and roadmaps across the entire organisation.
Combining informative presentations, interactive panel discussions, and dedicated focus groups, the IDC Middle East CIO Summit 2020 will address the most pressing ICT concerns of the entire C-Suite, providing strategic guidance on joining the ranks of the digital pioneers.
Running under theme ‘The Race to Reinvent: Connecting Leaders to Empower Digital Transformation’, the event will provide an essential platform for the ICT industry’s leading players to demonstrate their commitment to accelerating the Middle East’s digital transformation journey.
“With greater clarity about what the future enterprise will look like and what will be required to compete in redefined industries, organisations are rethinking their digital transformation strategies,” says Jyoti Lalchandani, IDC’s group V-P and regional managing director.
“There is now a focus on applying digital technologies to address customer engagement, intelligence, operations, and leadership. Competition has never been so intense, and a new playbook is required that is focused on creating business value, scaling digital innovation, and embracing the future. The race to reinvent is on.”
