8 e-services launched by Adek for parents and schools
ABU DHABI — Eight new e-services have been rolled out in Abu Dhabi to help create efficiency and save time for students, parents and teachers, education regulators have announced.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (Adek) on Sunday said it has launched the new e-service platforms, with the intention of delivering greater efficiency and time savings for students, parents and teachers.
The e-services, which include transcript, report card and certificate attestations, and appointment letter generation for educators, are available via the Adek website and on Tamm – the Abu Dhabi Government Services ecosystem; a digital one-stop platform for all government services in the emirate.
The Adek unveiled its new digital offering as part of its support for Digital Month, an initiative launched by the Government of Abu Dhabi to advance government services through innovative digital solutions.
The education regulator is set to streamline the vast majority of its customer-facing transactions, as 95 per cent of its service requests are now fully digitized through the newly launched e-services. The eight e-services will fast-track the most in-demand requests, including attestation services for report cards, transcripts and certificates as well as appointment letters for staff in nurseries and private schools. A new addition to the services is an electronic verification system to validate the authenticity of the attested documents. The newly introduced e-services are estimated to generate significant time savings for students, parents and teachers in the 204 private schools, 13 charter schools and 265 nurseries.
