dubai — After successfully organising over 20 face-to-face exhibitions and conferences, the UAE’s media pioneer Khaleej Times once again leads by example by announcing its first-ever virtual conference, the Remote Workforce Summit.

With remote working witnessing an increase of 400 per cent in the last decade, it has now become a workplace phenomenon, primarily highlighting the way work related trends are changing. In response to the current environment that has compelled organisations to work remotely, Khaleej Times will host a two-day online experience on June 3 and 4, which will bring together over 450 remote-first leaders across industries to gain insights, strategies, and inspiration to manage distributed teams.

The speaking panel includes more than 20 handpicked global experts who will deliver unparalleled content on building and scaling remote companies through live interviews, informal chats and case studies, complete with fact and figures on how it has resulted in a win-win situation for them as employers.

“It’s with real excitement that Khaleej Times is bringing together the finest minds and case studies in our industry all under one virtual roof. We aim to excite, inspire and most importantly connect with one another through engaging conversations and webinars led by acknowledged experts and prominent company leaders.” said Richard Pakenham, COO of Khaleej Times.

Automation Anywhere has joined #KTRWS2020 as the Lead Sponsor to accelerate the region’s implementation strategies.

“Business continuity is the first and foremost aspect that organisations chase at a time of a global pandemic. Corporates are leveraging technology to provide superior infrastructure that helps employees to keep them motivated, collaborate and bring out their best at work. Hybrid cloud solutions are gaining increased traction amongst business owners, in an effort to make processes more agile and easily accessible, keeping a tight control on security, said Milan Sheth, EVP-IMEA at Automation Anywhere.

“While we know there’s no substitute for getting together in person, we’ve built a unique opportunity for collaboration and learning. The Remote Workforce Summit has been carefully curated to cover every facet of running a remote business and help experts adapt to the new operating environment.” said Abhinav Mishra, head of conferences at Khaleej Times.

Networking has always been a key component of face-to-face events and the Remote Workforce Summit will be no different. The summit’s virtual meeting and video platform will provide ways for attendees to make meaningful connections and interact with each other, speakers and sponsors in a variety of unique ways including, virtual chat rooms where registrants can talk to one another about session topics and connect directly with speakers, virtual Q&A, polls and contests for continued engagement during the event and dedicated video conferencing with small groups of like-minded peers on carefully-curated topics.

The speaker line-up and topics will be announced each week leading up to the event. Recordings of all sessions will also be made available after the event for attendees who sign up, even if they are unable to make the live events.
