Eid gifts for children in quarantine

dubai — The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) brought festive cheer to 336 children this Eid Al Fitr by distributi­ng gifts to all those who are staying in quarantine facilities.

The Dar Al Ber Society joined hands with MoHAP to spread joy among the youth as part of their initiative called ‘Eid Joy — we’ll never forget you’.

Dr Aisha Suhail, director of the primary healthcare department, said: “The initiative, which is launched by MoHAP’s Maternal and Child Health section, reflects its social and humanitari­an responsibi­lity, and aims to promote the values of giving and social solidarity.”

The ministry also seeks to alleviate any psychologi­cal burden the children may be experienci­ng during their stay in quarantine, Dr Suhail added. In these facilities, the children have been receiving world-class healthcare and psychologi­cal support.

dubai — Bringing the Eid Al Fitr joy to Dubai kids affected by the pandemic, the health ministry distribute­d gifts to 336 children who were staying in its quarantine buildings.

Iman Harib, director of social protection department at the Ministry of Community Developmen­t, said: “Our aim is to support children in quarantine and to help them overcome these challengin­g times, as this would help reinforce their determinat­ion to get through this crisis.”
