Facilities for coronavirus patients promised

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra has said that facilities for coronavirus patients at the Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC) would be made operational. He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting during which he was briefed about the establishment of a dedicated centre for coronavirus patients at the PIC. The meeting was informed that in the first phase 50 beds were being arranged out of which 16 would be fitted with ventilators. At least 34 high dependency unit (HDU) beds would be provided later. —
