Risk allowance allowed to health workers

The Sindh government on Thursday allowed ‘Health Risk Allowance’ to health professionals with effect from July 1, 2020, till subsiding of the coronavirus pandemic. The allowance has been allowed after the approval from the Sindh chief minister. Health professionals from Grade-1 to Grade-16 would receive an allowance of Rs17,000, Grade 17 and above Rs35,000, post-graduate professionals Rs15,000, house job officers Rs10,000 and nursing students Rs5,500.
