Forum to discuss impact of digital lifestyles on kids
The next edition of the Sharjah Family Forum is turning the spotlight on how digital lifestyles have been affecting families — sometimes without them even knowing it.
The 17th edition of the forum — which will run from October 27 to 30 — will see several experts discuss the positive and negative impacts of digitisation on families.
It will shed light on the repercussions of digital life on society and the role of the family in protecting children from its harmful effects.
Seminars and sessions will address how parents can safeguard children from online fraud, cyber-bullying and other risks associated with using social media platforms.
The four-day event, held under the theme ‘Digitisation, A Way of Life’, will also feature an exhibition to highlight the development of Emirati and Arab families.
