Today marks the final day of Dubai's 3-Day Super Sale (3DSS), offering an incredible opportunity for bargain hunters to secure massive discounts.

Shoppers have been flocking to the participating malls and retail outlets to take advantage of the enticing deals ahead of summer vacations and Eid Al Adha holidays.

Enthusiastic shoppers turned up in huge numbers at Deira City Centre and Mirdif City Centre, where Khaleej Times spoke with them to capture the vibrant atmosphere of the 3-day shopping extravaganza.

Moving from one store to another, shoppers tried out and purchased the latest fashion trends, electronics, and other essentials. The walls adorned with vibrant colors celebrated the event, urging customers to “Make the most of it.”

According to a salesperson at Carrefour, electronics, mobiles, suitcases, children's accessories, home appliances, and home decor were the best-selling items during the discount days. For Hanan Katib, a Sharjah resident and marketing manager, the sale provided an opportunity to save money for the upcoming Eid Al Adha festivities. Katib shared, “These shopping sales help us save a lot of money when there is a must-buy season coming ahead, like Eid Al Adha.” He managed to save nearly 50 percent on his shopping for his children, highlighting the substantial discounts available.

Families with children also took advantage of the sale to search for school supplies and trendy backpacks at Carrefour supermarket, preparing for the back-to-school season.

Anam and his wife Rishaad found great discounts on school bags, lunch boxes, and other school-related items, ultimately saving around Dh800. Anam also managed to grab some discounted summer wear for himself. Satisfied with their purchases, Anam expressed, “Our kids are happy with the new bags, pencil compartments, shoes, and lunch

boxes. I am happy too as it was a bit light on my pocket.”

Tayyaba Anwar, a mother of two, made a quick visit to Mirdif City Center to take advantage of the deals. She found a desired item at a 25 percent discount and couldn't resist buying some clothes as well. Planning to return for more shopping, Tayyaba shared, “I need to buy gifts and clothes for Eid, so I am definitely going back over the weekend.”

Not only residents but also tourists were making the most of the shopping sales, with some finding exceptional discounts of up to 70 percent on their favorite products. Ibrahim Shah, a visitor to the UAE, was thrilled to purchase perfumes at a fraction of their original price, stating, “I got a perfume that usually costs about Dh450 for just Dh90 in the sale. I purchased about 10 perfumes for my folks and friends back in my country. It's a steal.”
