As stylish gadgets go, it’s tough to top this Smeg kettle decorated by Dolce & Gabbana, using the Sicilian motifs often seen on its clothes: gold lemons, prickly pears and bright cherries, all framed in triangular patterns called crocchi. Bright exterior aside, at the heart of the technology lies a keep-warm function that enables the water to retain its temperature for up to 20 minutes. Seven temperature levels allow you to adjust the heat between 50ºC and 100ºC, while the 360-degree swivel base is made from a non-slip material and is equipped with a safety system that, in the absence of water, interrupts the unit’s operation. The kettle is part of a kitchen collection that includes toasters, juicers, coffee machines and blenders.
