200,000 PALESTINE PERMITS REVOKED
JERUSALEM // Israel yesterday revoked the permits of 200,000 Palestinians to enter Israel, which were approved for Ramadan, after two attacks on police that killed a female officer near Jerusalem’s Old City. Israeli defence body Cogat made the announcement on its Arabiclanguage Facebook page. Earlier, prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that preparations were under way to destroy the homes of the Palestinian attackers. Three armed Palestinian men attacked officers on duty near the Old City in two places on Friday.
