Verses of Peace is a group exhibition presented by The Islamic Art Forum and Abu Dhabi Art Hub that honours Martyrs Day. ABU DHABI FOOD FESTIVAL

Visit the opening of Truckers Carnival as part of the Abu Dhabi Food Festival. A blend of foodtruck festival and fun fair, the event features 10 trucks, which change on a weekly basis, and 10 popular skill games from travelling fairs of the 1960s. Plus, the giant inflatable installati­on Luminarium, a maze of light and colours, will complete its Middle East tour here.

ABU DHABI FALCONRY

Attend the Festival of Falconry, which welcomes falconers from more than 80 countries presenting exhibition­s, workshops and entertainm­ent. Visit a Bedouin tent where you can see falcons and salukis, hear poetry and enjoy traditiona­l food. Children will enjoy the games and interactiv­e workshops.

Catch the final days of The Memory of Hope, an exhibition of works by Ethiopian photograph­er Aida Muluneh, who transforms the women in her compositio­ns with painted faces to

draw attention to the personas we adopt in order to hide our true intentions. Through the exhibition, Muluneh aims to emphasise the decadence that is rooted in those who profit from the disadvanta­ged.
